Areas of Focus
Our Current Priorities
Most nighttime economy initiatives around the globe are led by local government agencies. 24HourDallas, however, is an all-volunteer and membership-powered non-profit charity.
For 2020, our business, non-profit, and individual volunteers are focused on these action areas:

Create & Convene
What opportunities are there for arts and cultural experiences to invigorate and demystify the night ... and bring us back into a community?

Gather & Guide
What do we need to provide meaningful insights and measures for Dallas’ nighttime economy? What can we do to promote post-COVID economic activity and increase economic opportunity at night?

Include & Resolve
How can we deliberately ensure all races, ethnicities, faiths, cultural traditions, economic classes, sexual orientations, abilities, and families have a place in our work? How can we best mediate conflict and come to terms that take into consideration emotions and laws?

Comfort & Protect
What recommendations and actions can we advance to make customers, residents, employees, neighbors, and businesses safer at night?

Identify & Advocate
What planning, urban design, transportation, and environmental priorities create ideal nighttime scenarios? And what can we do to help advance those ideals?

Listen & Speak
How do we best communicate and gain support for what 24HourDallas and Dallas' nighttime economy are all about?
